President's welcome

Hello everyone!

My name is Hanne Livermore and I am honored to serve as Panhellenic President at the University of Illinois. My experience being a part of the Panhellenic community has undoubtedly made my college years the best of my life so far. I know for a fact that my experience would not be the same, nor would I be the thoughtful and well-rounded woman I am without out.

The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign consists of twenty-three chapters; nineteen of which are National Panhellenic Council Chapters and four additional Associate Chapters. One of my favorite aspects of our diverse community here at Illinois is getting to know such a wide variety of women, and learning about what each chapter has to offer. These chapters are made up of women that walk this campus with grace, making a purposeful impact on our world. They are knowledgeable, generous, curious, and so much more. It makes me so unbelievably proud and emotional to be a part of such a genuine and selfless group of women.

As Panhellenic women, we hope to inspire positive and necessary change through various programming and opportunities. These include, but are not limited to: education, service, DEI, philanthropy, leadership, and personal growth.

We are proud to support the philanthropy of the Circle of Sisterhood. Circle of Sisterhood was founded by sorority women in efforts to remove educational barriers for girls and women facing poverty and oppression. We work rigorously to not only raise awareness, but take tangible action in order to grant women across the world access to the education that will help lift society as a whole. We would love for you to learn more about the amazing work they do and how you can get involved by asking a sister, participating in formal recruitment, or heading straight to the source to give back; Circle of Sisterhood.

There is no other community I would want to work my hardest to represent. Before my cherished time here at Illinois slips through my fingers, I want to make the most of it not only for myself, but for the Panhellenic community as a whole. I know that I have an undying passion for Panhellenic and the women that drive its immense success and can promise to whole-heartedly devote myself to giving the thousands of women who are yet to join our community the best experience possible. Being a part of Panhellenic is being willing to grow to become the best version of yourself for the world. It is with great pride I stand for such an empowering ideal.

If you have any questions about our community, please do not hesitate to contact me at: illiniphcpresident@gmail.com I would love to hear from you!

With love,

Hanne Livermore
